You def are not adding in our events, which have had many more women over the years and also when I ran the site (might be 50-50 there). We had several POC but not nearly enough. We tried hard to find and recruit when I was in charge and I urged that same for my successors

Silicon Valley has a notorious problem with diversity, and the people who are honest about it openly acknowledge and actively try to change it, as seen in this thread. Your repeated use of "Aunty" to address Kara, on the other hand, begs reflection, unless she is your aunt?
