    It hurts when leaders say they are learning about equity and inclusion. They have the privilege of learning at their own pace. To those directly impacted by the policies and practices that result, it is a matter of urgency. We need leaders who already get it.

    I made a special visit to the Met today to see the work of —a special commission for their great hall. The work is incredible! It disrupts the colonial gaze & colonial spaces, calling on museums to offer challenging & diverse perspectives on our shared history.
