    Snowshoe Hares are aptly named: their huge hind feet provide them a large surface area, just like a snowshoe, which allows them to move quickly over the snow and escape predators.

    The park is OPEN today from 9am-5:30pm. All cross-country ski trails are open today with the exception of Roe which will be closed until approx 2pm for a special event. Snowshoe trails are open all day and the ice skating trail will be available from 11am-5:30pm.
