This is a common mistake. The Carnivore Diet is NOT "what a carnivorous animal ears in the wild". It is a specific dietary protocol defined by eating only or almost only animal sourced foods.

It kills me to eat out. I keep thinking... this one plate costs the same as a week of food from the store...and I’m not wondering about what sketchy ingredients the cook used.

Pork is red meat. In the 80s there was an ad campaign calling it "the other white meat", but that was just to try to get people to think it was like those "healthy, low fat" meats.

Second, what with different cuts, cooking styles, and animals, there is plenty to choose from. Pork belly, chicken thighs, oysters, egg yolks, beef ribs, steak tartare, lamb chops, smoked wings,... there is a lot of variety.

No scientific evidence I’m aware of demonstrating that plant matter is required in the human diet, and no mechanistic rationale to support their nutritional superiority over animal foods...

For forearms you can perform static twists (working flx against ext then switching), supination, and pronation with a rolled up towel or a thick piece of pipe.

I didn't fully understand satiation until I started eating Carnivore, and even then only when meals were suitably high fat. With very high fat (no carbs), you get a point of "no more" that is absolutely clear. You can be in the middle of a bite you were eager for and Bam-Done.

Don't overthink it - just get some red meat with a lot of fat on it. Eat that for a while cooked how you prefer with whatever herbs/spices you like and *minimal* sauces, whilst you research further.

In as much as they: 1. inhibit autophagy 2. lower insulin sensitivity 3. reduce mitochondrial fitness 4. disregulate satiety, which leads to more 1 & 2 & 3 ..with all those effects hitting every cell in the body ..aren't they at least semi-causal?

I benefited immensely from going keto then zero-carb...then I benefited greatly from using the right types of carbs at the right time without the negative effects that haunted me in the past. What I will likely always avoid: seed oils, processed foods, "healthy" whole grains.

There so many steps between first thought of a meal and terminal oxidation… Theories should consider most links in the chain of events.

Eat what nature is giving you when is giving you. 4 season, 4 stages of food. U can't eat veggies, fruits on winter, simple you don't have them.

Not 1 of them has ever lasted. Still waiting for somebody to prove us wrong. Where is that person who's been fasting, chugging bone broth, eating organs, grass finished beef, limiting protein and thriving after 10 years?

The other problem is that not everyone has access to a freshly killed seal or a mountain goat. We have to work with what we got. The evidence is piling up. Things look okay to me. I live life through probability and base that on whatever I can know, observe, and experience.

Beyond that, we have hundreds of people eating this way long-term without eating organs. The probability that Stefansson was right about the only thing needed is muscle meat and fat is much greater than the probability that we need to eat organs. RDA is a useless metric.

We can come up with some generalizations about what he said. They did eat organs so we could say that it is a good idea to eat them too. However, he also said they weren't needed, so we can just as well consider that an option.
