In the desert, I walk through delicate plants with big pink flowers. On closer inspection, I see the flowers are actually animals, some alive but almost translucent, others dead, delicately decomposing. Light shines through their skin in intense, glowing shades of flesh.

A shack in the distance has a direct relationship to my age. It's hard to see if it's beautifully built or tumble down. Closer, we see it's been converted to a restaurant serving Southern food, big red plastic signs. Close up view of the pattern on a 1970s oil tablecloth.

Interlocking groups of people have specific wisdom but I have to figure which people it is and that keeps changing. To identify the correct group I study color of clothing, the words people use, their gestures, looking for clues but realize they're all walking into the sea

I run into Queen Elizabeth, realize we're old friends. We sit in a cafe chatting. Her hair is full of tiny braids, covered with a crocheted circlet with little dangly bits hanging of it. I realize I have the same hair style. We try to remember last time we had high tea.

All night waking up then going back into the same dream, a long, involved party. I realize is secretly friends with the Kardashians; they take his advice on clothing, diet. I keep trying to order a gin and tonic but the fancy waitresses fawn over Erik instead.

At a club in NYC, I leave to go meet my parents, realize I've forgotten my stuff. I try to run back but my body barely moves. Finally make it back, get some of my stuff but forget my phone so I can't call a Lyft, have no money for a cab then can't find the club Frustrating

Our hotel room is so filthy that flies dive bombing the floor make splashes of filth. I put my dinner into the oven then move to another hotel, remember too late, worry it'll burn the place down. A mother/daughter team parades laughing down the street with the burnt dinner

Outside a 2nd story apartment, Chairman Mao inside, we try to keep our friends for saying anything too controversial, though one laughs at how short he is. Then I have to leave for the airport. I'm placed in a coach drawn by four horses who thunder down the steps with me.

On another planet, and I are given clear plastic body-sized lampshade things as clothes, are unsure whether to put them over what we're wearing or be naked underneath, also given containers of a lumpy substance that could be food, drugs, or soap. Much hilarity.

We try to detect attention by falling in with crowds. The first crowd is all small children. We stand out. Next we try a Southern Baptist choir. Also fails. Then we join a group of half-human half-animal creatures having a Bacchanalia, are shocked to realize we fit in well

A large crowd makes up components of something larger. I try to determine what it is by movements of various people, the sounds they make, they colors they're wearing. I start to think I see the pattern, but then a couple of people does something to disrupt it. Confusing

I have a little brother who looks like a mix of all races. He breaks the corners of unlikely things, desks, metal plates, televisions. Because of his ability, a marching band begins to form in the pit/moat in front of our house, a great victory for him. He breaks the tuba.

A crowd of us wanders through Ellen Degeneres' farm looking for the mountain gorillas. The guy in charge of the dream realizes he meant to put everyone in Rwanda, tries to reset the dream there but ends up placing us in a petting zoo outside of Cincinnati.

I'm made up of millions of composite parts of sound, many of them very loud. I see myself from above as a landscape with lots of explosions going off, with small areas of pale colored quiet. I make a sponsorship deal with a company that makes marching band instruments.

We go into a house full of mud. Everyone else walks very carefully but I just stride in, hit a deep spot and sink in mud up to my waist. Gross. I take off all my clothes, go running around carefree. We're worried Ann Shulgin has stopped breathing, but she's just asleep

I return to my apartment to discover that new people have moved in. They're having a party, one or two people I know there. They've completely redecorated and have buried my art and possessions halfway into the ground so only the top parts of everything is displayed.

I wake in my hotel room to find a large man with a big afro in a plaid suit. I ask what he's doing there. He says This is MY shirt! I'm clearly puzzled so he shows me that my room has a whole area attached to it that I hadn't noticed, full of men's clothes, chatting people

In a grubby urban area, pink neon light in windows and down alleys looks like a red light district. I walk up to one, discover they're places to express political views. Many people rant vociferously. The stations are run by multi-generations of pygmy women all named Dash

On docks at night, a seedy, druggy scene. A woman hands me capsules filled with brown powder. "First one's free." I ask what they are, she tells me they're sleep, that they specialize in making subhumans feel human. My college roommate emerges from the shadows to take some
