Runner ups would definitely be Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Princess Bride, Mad Max Fury Road, Se7en, X-Men First class

This was hard because I've watched a lot of films and it's hard for me to always remember what precisely I like about them or what made an impact and a lot of films make impacts!

A lot of my favorite films are from when I was a teen and I've definitely gone through periods of liking certain things because I was struggling for a very long time with trauma so I'd gravitate towards really light, teen comedies and really dark or violent stuff

Which is funny because I loved Se7en but hated Requiem for a Dream because Fincher's visuals are precise and visceral but Aronofsky is alienating and also a fucking hack, as it turns out

I was really into Kevin Smith for a minute, really into Fight Club, all of which are things I am not super into now though lets be real, I still like Fight Club for the cinematography not the story

I also was really into Tarantino too because who isn't if you're a college kid around the early aughts who h as to take film and scriptwriting classes and then I started actually developing a taste for people who made relatable or passionate works beyond just that stuff

Kill Bill was so thrilling to me without realizing why but I think that's why I like Fury Road a lot now without as much complication
