I started writing a post about how I feel about the Pardo business, but I don't think I have much to say, even though I feel I should.

I do wish that videogames better represented the diversity that is reality, but I don't think it is fair say they should be obligated...

...to so, especially if it were to involve changing an already released/existing game.

Sadly, the mere existence of queer characters is notable, and while I personally would be happy to such things, I can understand that...

...others may play games specifically so that they can get away from things like arguments/debates over gender and sexuality.

@SvelteKumquat @Haileaus I think it is - MMOs lend themselves to roleplay, where you can be whatever you want, pixels don't matter.

@ArliSunblade @Haileaus The counterargument is that ppl are trying to escape to a world where they don't have to treat others with respect.
