I went to the pet store because I can't get Soras food online (even Chewy said it's basically sold out), and to get more fish food since im at half stock and don't want to just not have any. I also needed test strips. I opted to go to a local business that I've frequented and-

A dude on his phone just.. wandering around. Ignoring the signs everywhere to keep 6 feet of distance. The employee who helped me (I opted to get two fish) said he's been there DAILY. Just does not pay attention. Walks into people.

Get my stuff, take it out to the car. Next, QFC for an onion and meds for Jaina (I usually go right home when I buy fish, but figured this wouldn't take long). It took almost an hour. Most people were good but.. man it was depressing.

At least ten percent were just not paying attention. Still did not give a shit about social boundaries. But really guys it's just.. I'm scared. I didn't want to leave the house today but Sora only had enough food for tonight and I wanted to just get it done.

It really did make it feel more.. real. Both stores still felt pretty post-apoc. They aren't really able to restock at Denny's at all aside from local suppliers so most tanks were empty (plenty of dry pet food thankfully, but the fish frozen food was.. lacking )
