Sylvanas: my take 1. This is The War of the Thorns. There is huge symbolism in thorns. Thorns represent hardship, trials, a danger in your path. Sylvanas' thorns are memory, pain, loss.

Yes! Ty. I don’t see people talking about the symbolism with the flowers in her flashback. Maybe it’s too obvious. But she lost hope when she died. The flowers died. The tree dies as her message of destroying hope. I think azsharas going to be the opposite. She gained hope
The flowers in the flashback were awesome (can only go so deep in a tweet). I love how they are evocative of fields poppies symbolizing loss in war.
