but there are still millions of species (other than homo sapiens) who would die if we dont "save the people"??

Earth's been around long before we took over and will remain after we're gone as a species -- so I don't understand what we're trying to protect other than ourselves.

not really gone, just the majority of us will be dead thanks to climate change and what not according to the worst case scenario, if humanity does pull through then good for them but millions of species would still be in the grave thanks to us
