A policy preventing Copyright owners from making $ on manual claims for:
Short song clips (ex: 5 sec of a song)
Unintentional audio (ex:
from passing cars)
Claimants can still block monetization or the video itself, but timestamps help you edit out the claim.

Yeah, that's good news, but do you mind keeping the dislike button? There are good reasons why you should leave the dislike button alone, like people disagreeing with you, or criticism. Sincerely, Actual content creators who aren't from some multi-million dollar conglomerates.

I can understand where you're coming from, the only issue I see is that creators care more about their comments than their dislike ratio, so comments would provide more feedback, as to why it's bad (in the first place). dislike button only allows less reccomendations and bots

That may be true, but the ratio isn't all useless and some do care about keeping the ratio. The comments is a good source, yeah, but anyone could talk about anything there besides praise or criticism. I mean, it could be quotes from the video, spam, or some random suggestions.
