    should be January 1, full stop. Organizing, unionizing, encouraging pay transparency, and banning salary history inquiries are all tools we can use to make the above ^ a reality and Equal Pay Day a thing of the past.

    If was based on this more comprehensive measure of the gendered earnings gap, the day would fall much later in the year—more like October. And for women of color, you’d have to wait until the next year.

    Gen Alpha is bound to value privacy like crazy. Not even value, but feel like they HAVE to seek it out bc their digital footprints were beyond out of their control growing up. From family vloggers, Instagram moms, etc— they’re gonna be fed the fuck UP
