I worked with someone from the Middle East once when we had a bomb threat at our workplace. Our city had had several, and the one where we worked provided evidence to catch the dude. But a week later a car backfired going by and my colleague *dove* for cover. CPTSD is *deep*.

Yes walking through Flinders st station a few years ago; fireworks were going off eastward along the Yarra + the whole station was filled with smoke + the noise of it + I thought this is not right, this is no celebration for those who’ve experienced war. I haven’t and it shook me
