    THIS IS NOT COMPLICATED. Israel controls nearly every aspect of Palestinian life in the West Bank and Gaza. The Israeli government has a moral and legal obligation to provide the people under their control with the life-saving vaccine.

    5,000 vaccines= about .1% that given to Israeli citizens. Israel's legal duties far exceed offering spare doses. After 50+ of occupation, it must provide Palestinians in the occupied territory with equitable access to the vaccine on par with what it provides its own citizens.

    Stung by criticism of its blatant discrimination in the West Bank--vaccinating Israeli citizens in the illegal settlements but not the Palestinians across the road, even in Area C where the PA has no authority--Israel now says it'll provide 5,000 vaccines.

    A drop in the bucket. In comparison, Israel has so far administered 4,347,206 doses to its citizens including Israeli settlers living in the occupied West Bank. Israel is legally obligated to provide vaccines to all people living under its control. It’s not charity or favor.

    Exclusive: Israel will deliver 5,000 doses of Corona vaccine to the PA early next week - a high-ranking Palestinian source tells me. The vaccines will be given to at least 2,500 Palestinian medical personnel. These are Pfizer vaccines.
