This may come as a shock to some of you but I’m releasing an album and it’s called The A-Block. Here’s a sneak preview 🤫. It’s actually only 6 songs so it’s technically an EP but we don’t need to be technical about this. Stay tuned 👀

  2. The Chicago Police Department described a 3-step process: -Officers are vetted to make sure it wasn't an error -If it wasn't, they're sent to HR to be placed on no-pay status & given another chance to comply -If still no they're sent to internal affairs to be given a direct order

  3. On Monday, the compliance rate for the nearly 13,000-officer Chicago Police Department was 64%. It saw a slight uptick today to 67%, police said, as the department continues through the verification process. The CPD head said there have been no problems with officer shortages.

  4. At least 21 Chicago Police officers have been placed on no-pay status after refusing to report whether they've been vaccinated. This is after "several hundred" evaluations of those who were not in compliance by the Oct. 15 deadline. "Many" have decided to comply when approached.

Chicago police officers are already being put on no-pay status after failing to comply with the city's mandate to report whether they've been vaccinated. So far it's "a very small number" in an ongoing process per Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

In total, about 4500 of the city's total 12,770 officers did not comply with the mandate and could be placed on no-pay status in the foreseeable future. The disciplinary process is ongoing. The city now is mostly approaching employees with new opportunities to be in compliance.

City officials said the disciplinary process is going to be ongoing and likely happen on a rolling basis. This isn't an immediate "we're firing you" situation. It's the beginning of a process that includes trying to get a final number of employees into compliance.

In a statement on Colin Powell's death, President Biden says he "put country before self, before party, before all else" and Biden will "miss being able to call on his wisdom in the future." He adds that Powell "could drive his Corvette Stingray like nobody’s business."
