    RIP Aboona Marcos!

    The first-ever Coptic Orthodox priest in North America, Father Marcos Marcos was dedicated and devoted - and he spent his entire life in service of others. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and the Coptic community as they mourn this tremendous loss.

    Update on Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine that was just approved by Health Canada: 30,000 doses are expected to arrive as early as Monday at the 14 points of shipment across the country. Up to 249,000 doses are coming this month, with millions more in the new year.

    UPDATE ON VACCINES: Canada has secured an agreement with Pfizer to begin early delivery of doses of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine. We’re scheduled to receive up to 249,000 of our initial doses this month, with millions more on the way.

    We remember the victims and their families and we reaffirm our commitment to confronting gender-based violence and all factors that contribute to it

    On Dec. 6, 1989, Canada was shaken to its core. On that day, a gunman entered l'École Polytechnique Montreal and murdered 14 women because they were women. Today, we honour the memory of the women we lost and reaffirm to do more for all women and girls. We will end .
