The Legislature will spend their very limited remaining legislative time on LB 814. There is still time to drop this bad policy that is medically NOT necessary and that puts politics between a woman and their doctor. #NEleg

A person’s health, not politics, should guide important medical decisions at every point in a pregnancy. We trust women to make health care decisions that are best for themselves and their families and for that, we oppose LB 814.

Nebraskans need
#NEleg to take action on pandemic relief to:
ensure access to food, housing & other basic needs
strengthen access to child care for parents returning to work
strengthen health and safety protections for all workers
Not restrictions to health care.Show this thread -
Right now, as our state grapples with the impact of this public health crisis, our lawmakers must prioritize the health, safety and well-being of Nebraskans and their families, not forcing their own personal beliefs on women when it comes to abortion.

Reminder--medically there is no reason to deny women and their doctors the ability to use this method of abortion care. The only reason is political. It's time to stop forcing personal beliefs on women when it comes to abortion.

LB 814 has been pulled from committee and will be debated by the full Legislature. Now is the time to contact your Senator and OPPOSE LB 814 that would ban a method of abortion. They need to hear from you. https://www.omahawomensfund.org/wp-content/uploads/2019-Senator-Email-List.pdf …
