As our climate continues to change, #permaculture water capture methods will be the most efficient way forward. Top image shows how most homes are designed: all the rainwater runs off into the gutters & little to no water is retained. The bottom image shows water capture design.

Yesterday, employees from made a generous donation to Omaha Permaculture and volunteered their time to clean up trash in 3 of our lots. We're grateful for their efforts and we're thrilled to be a part of this type of community engagement.

With consistent temperatures above 50º, it is ok to begin pruning & cleaning up your yard for the new season! Natural mulch methods such as using recycled cardboard underneath a layer of wood chips can minimize weeds, reducing the need for your labor and harmful herbicides.
