    Well, I'm sorry to say after this great conversation, but I don't think will ever be truly democratized... The discipline is far too complex and technical, but what can be democratized is the ability to understand data and algorithmic methods and limitations!

    A5: This needs to be a white paper or novel, not a tweet! It's a cliche because it is true: "Culture eats strategy for breakfast". If only the techies are involved in the efforts, the non-techies may very well revolt. The anticipated benefits never materialize.

    A5: Organizations with a pre-existing culture will tend to be more successful with democratization because they foster self-sufficiency and quick turnarounds. FAIL FAST, TRY OFTEN!
