REALLY important by : “In the aftermath of Jordan Neely's killing, there has been an enormous amount of speculation about what the other people on the train who watched him die were thinking. In an effort to find out, I talked to a few of them”

Here’s the thing: we cannot say the monarchy doesn’t matter when the state is abridging civil liberties to produce the fiction that every citizen approves of it.

Outrageous scenes of cops arresting anti-monarchy protestors and stealing their placards So we are not allowed to show public opposition to a bloke being crowned head of state for having been born into unimaginable wealth while ppl line up at food banks and schools fall apart

Am so grateful to Richard for giving me a new lease of life this season. I’d felt a bit disconnected and distant last few years and started to feel like I didn’t want to really engage, for various reasons, but he’s done so much to create a community and build with the club.

I spoke to via voice note while we were en route out of Krt + Sudan. It's mostly me narrating our journey. The situation has gotten so much worse since then. I am grateful to Malika + her team for using their platform to cover what is happening in Sudan. #Sudan

We headed to Sudan next, where the best way to connect with a family fleeing the violence of the last few weeks was over voice note. @minlayla77 shared her story of escaping and her concern for everyone left behind: aj.audio/TheTake-543 🧵

Sarina was 16. Here talking about life inside Iran. Due to videos like this, she was brutally beaten to death by regime mercenaries. Powerful reminder of the young who lost their lives simply yearning for the most basic of all human rights: freedom. #RIP #WomanLifeFreedom

ITV reports “polling station tellers in Oxfordshire say "large numbers" of voters were being turned away, reporting that between 10-25% were unable to vote.” There was almost no voter fraud in the UK. There is now, and it is officially sanctioned.

Some added context here. Was told by someone familiar with CCHQ inside view that anything over 700+ losses would be "absolute disaster" which makes 1000+ off the scale

Tory party chairman Greg Hands is suggesting 1000+ seat losses was an independent "prediction" by Sky analyst Michael Thrasher - that's not quite right... it was the worst-case scenario projection, and it looks like it could happen. Latest developments: trib.al/nKay0xG

Telegraph interview with Ron DeSantis revealing what he and Kemi Badenoch talked about: persecuting trans people, banning books, purging schools, censoring teaching? “She complimented what we are doing in Florida. She committed that it is what they are trying to do in Britain.
He lists some of the areas of concern. “We look at woke infiltrating schools as a problem, woke infiltrating bureaucracies as a problem and woke infiltrating corporate America as a problem. We say that Florida is where woke goes to die. At the end of the day you cannot have a successful society if it is being operated by woke ideology. It is fundamentally at odds with reality and facts and truths, and ultimately a society needs to be grounded in truth.”

On his trip to Britain, he met James Cleverly, the Foreign Secretary, and Kemi Badenoch, the Business and Trade Secretary who is also in charge of Equalities.

His discussion with the latter included her war on woke, which he enthusiastically supports. Gender-neutral lavatories and the decolonisation of school curricula are among issues against which the former Tory leadership candidate, 43, has campaigned.

I ask him how the meeting went. “She complimented what we are doing in Florida. She committed that it is what they are trying to

It’s incomprehensible what is happening in NC right now because one rep switched her party from democrat to Republican. I’m so scared and angry. I must get more involved and help fight back.

How will AI "destroy human society"? Governments will outsource decision making on visas and borders to computers and codify racist and exclusionary travel policies, hardening borders and explicitly harming people who are fleeing conflict (already happening).

I will miss Adam Brace so much. One summer we ran into each other on the street and ended up in a drink in the sunshine through to the same time next day, setting theatre right. I always hoped whenever I arrived in a strange room he’d be there. I will still hope that.

It is with deep sadness that we share the following statement about our much-loved friend and colleague, Adam Brace sohotheatre.com/news/adam-brac
Photograph of Adam Brace at Soho Theatre. A white man in his early 40s, with grey hair, a dark brown beard and brown glasses. He is smiling and stood in a corridor wearing a black coat and a white shirt. The text beside it is Soho Theatre and United Agents statement and can be found on the Soho Theatre website through the link in the Tweet.
