    Deliveroo drivers in Dublin are striking from 6pm tonight. They're demanding better conditions, security, standards and delivery fees. Gig economy workers are still workers and are entitled to good conditions. Solidairty with the , don't cross the picket!

    One of the most dishonest posts on housing I have ever seen. Most of these are not housing votes. They include controversial rezonings & public land transfers to private interests. FG & FF created the housing crisis & now their online trolls are trying to blame everyone else!

    A non-COVID chart for a change. Fascinating discovery from here on the voting patterns of Dublin City councillors on housing issues. This is just the 21 votes taken since 2019. Dublin has an acute housing shortage and the issue will return after the pandemic.

    CYM disaffiliating from CPI it seems. Thought all the chatter was bullshit as it seemed to have nothing to substantiate it. Seems an odd move but I wish them well. They have some good activists involved in union and housing stuff.

    Remember Britains crimes around the world by comparing them to Irish soldiers taking part in a UN peacekeeping mission. No thanks. Britain had no place in Africa or Ireland

    Remember the Battle of Rorke's Drift, an engagement in the Anglo-Zulu War. Eleven Victoria Crosses were awarded with pride. Stats similar to Jadotville 150 defending against 4000 Zulus. Only difference Zulus had few if any guns.
