Canada’s spent more than $120 billion on foreign oil since 2012, often bought at global prices. We continue to sell our own oil at a discount, losing up to $100 million each day. This is a national issue with national repercussions. #CdnPolipic.twitter.com/UCEk2YNDmT

You can correct that to say Irving Oil purchased 120 billion on foreign oil. NOT Canada. A private business. You have zero fact and a whole lot of bullshit.

How can the imbeciles currently in power ignore this situation and refuse to show the common sense to provide the leadership that will rectify the situaton? Instead, we get the noise of indigenous issues, gender equity nonsense, and climate change baloney. #cdnpoli

Indigenous issues are noise? Human equality? Most Canadians consider the insufferable whine emanating from Alberta to be noise.

U strike me as a guy with not a pot to piss in or window to throw it out of. U want to bring everyone to ur level to make u feel better about urself. The problem about indigenous issues, gender equity, climate change is that others get to pay for them, not u. Am I boring u yet?

Retired university professor here, I can just afford a pisspot should I choose to turn back the clock. Ever heard of social conscience? No, because you're one of the selfish, tRump admiring Albertans who whine about Me, Myself & I. And yes, Canadians *are* bored with you.

Makes sense. A tenured monkey filling students’ minds with left wing horseshit. Not selfish, don’t like Trump, all I’m whining about is a politically correct prick like u who was encouraging me to find oil, gas until recently, to fuel ur flights in retirement, to who knows where.

Do you know why we buy other peoples oil. It's called capitalism. They have a better mean of extraction and processing. And our tar sands cannot compete with the reliance of corporate welfare. So bud, political bias aside. Explain why our welfare ridden oil is the smarter play

This is what happens when you give oil companies free reign in AB: they rake in the profits and barely invest in infrastructure. Had they bothered to build more/better refineries, we wouldn't be selling our heavy crude to the few refineries that can process it at a huge discount
