While it’s very discouraging, I’m glad it’s getting more strict. At the same time I’m also heartbroken. My main channel of 5 years didn’t make the cut (neither did gaming or coloring channels) and I put my heart and soul into it.

the trouble is as well the crackdown is happening to the wrong people...my local news has a post up and they are blaming the small community for the actions of another. the content restrictions should be tighter for those with larger channels and therefore in the public eye

and not those who like me, barely get noticed and aren't to blame at all. Your channels are part of this, you've done nothing wrong and nor have I. And even if we get 1000 subs we STILL have to pass new restrictions to get into the exclusive club

Yep. I can’t say this will make it easy. The 4000 hours is what is getting me. It’s not where you can do this for fun and make some side cash. It’s definitely more to make it a business (imo). I’m just going to have to work harder than before.
