Socialism means us ALL owning the ‘Means of Production’. No ruling class or leader. Work simply to meet society’s needs. Free access to all goods and services.

  1. Prikvačeni tweet

We want to know how many people following our account, or who chance upon it, would like real socialism (see graphic for explanation). If you would prefer to live and work in this new society rather than continue living under capitalism, then PLEASE LIKE and RT this pinned tweet.

  2. Most of the minority that didn’t vote for socialism would go along with the democratic wishes of the majority. Very few people able to contribute would refuse to ever do so. A handful of antis could not undermine socialism, and would just be viewed as backward-looking eccentrics.

  3. We’re often asked “If everyone has free access to what they need, why would anyone work?”. This question fails to take into account that if socialism does exist, it will be because a clear majority of people who wanted socialism, brought it about, and so, won’t mind contributing!

  4. Socialists keep hearing the same silly comments from people fed a false view of socialism by rightwing ‘news’ outlets and supposed ‘experts’. “Socialism is slavery” say those duped by the pro-capitalism Right — the opposite of reality. Socialism will END today’s mass slavery.

  5. People want freedom from poverty, satisfying lives, work that they enjoy, a bright safe future for their children. Simple things which all people everywhere long for. But we don’t have them, and we never will, until a majority of us use our political power to establish socialism!

  6. It is the workers who’ve made the world the way it is, and it’s the workers who operate the world’s industries, factories, transport system etc, so it is the workers who should own the world’s means of producing and distributing all the goods and services that humankind needs.

  7. America’s wealth distribution as a pie. The answer to obscene inequality isn’t trying to tax billionaires more, as Bernie wants to do. If capitalism continues, that would inevitably fail one way or another. All worker-created wealth must go to the workers.

  9. At 11pm tonight, millions of people are going to celebrate ‘freedom’ from a bunch of money-grabbing bullies and manipulators who have been unjustly controlling the lives of the British public for far too long. Have these wallies never heard of the capitalist class?

  11. The body of a renowned environmental activist has been found in Mexico two weeks after he went missing. Since 2006, 60,000 people have disappeared in Mexico — many, victims of criminal gangs who kill anyone that disturbs their lucrative illegal activities.

  12. Would you let a stranger borrow your car? Leave your front door open when you go out? Have confidence in a salesperson promising you a “better deal” in a random phone call? Who can you rely on under capitalism? If you want a society where you can trust others, choose socialism.

  13. Workers have submitted to exploitation, long and patiently, but the limit has been reached. Why should they have to continue delivering up to others the wealth they produce? Chattel slavery and serfdom were ended. Now it is capitalism and wage-slavery facing economic extinction.

  14. The latest meme from was full of the usual garbage and got deleted shortly after we pointed out Marx was a journalist for 20 years, a newspaper editor twice, and wrote around 700 articles for various publications until he gave up journalism. “Never even held a job”. Lol!

  15. Mocking those who think that capitalism is a good idea and everything will turn out all right for them at the end, isn’t funny.

  16. There are people following our account who don’t understand that when we refer to “socialism”, we mean the post-capitalist FUTURE economy Marx and Engels wrote about, which has nothing — NOTHING — to do with state-controlled economies like the old Soviet Union or Venezuela today.

  17. And take a look at that photo. Whereas within socialism you will have free access to whatever goods and services you need; under capitalism, where everyone’s trying to find a way to take money from you, banks make a big fuss about how you can get your own money back, “free” 😂.

  18. Socialism is a society where nobody’s exploited; no-one must do a job they hate; everyone’s entitled to a decent home which they can’t be forced out of; and where there is genuine democracy with no top-down rule. Yet capitalism’s fans, who supposedly want ‘freedom’, reject this!

  19. If you pick 30 apples from a tree for yourself and your family, why shouldn’t you have them? Because the land was stolen centuries ago and sold to others thereafter? This planet should belong to all of us! If you work 30 hours, why shouldn’t YOU decide who gets what YOU produced?

  20. Socialists are often told Twitter and the internet came about under capitalism, but if this is a good reason to keep an outdated system, then capitalism should never have replaced feudalism, during which gunpowder, vertical windmills, spectacles and mechanical clocks came about.

  21. Ever heard the saying “Never trust a Tory”? Voters have been played for fools, again. “An estimated 37 of the 50 new Tory MPs – amounting to 70% of the gains made by the Conservatives at the general election – represent areas set to lose millions a year.”
