    Ujuzi Teketeke is a 8-week youth life skills training initiative where learners are attached to established craftsmen for on-the-job training to equip young people with industrial skills.Those who successfully complete the training are issued start-up kits to start their own biz

    We have today received a consignment of oncology drugs worth Sh 3.3M for cancer management at the Makueni Referral Hospital cancer unit. The drugs, purchased by the county government, will relieve patients of the huge out-of-pocket expenses on cancer management.

    Martha Karua unveils the Makueni Oxygen Plant at the county Referral Hospital. It has a production capacity of 288 M3 of oxygen daily, enough to cover all our health facilities. The plant saves the county Ksh 65 Million which would have been spent to procure Oxygen externally.

    90 pupils from Makueni who sat their KCPE in 2021 will report to secondary schools under full scholarship by the Makueni County Government. The 90 were awarded the scholarship offer letters by in Wote Thursday. 456 pupils have benefited since 2014.
