Responded to a crash urgent call in northeast Austin. Turns out both vehicles involved were stolen this week; one from south Austin and the other from east Austin. Witnesses advised the cars were driving recklessly & the occupants (juveniles) left running after the crash. #ATX

Richard Fierro, a U.S. Army veteran, said he "went into combat mode” to tackle the gunman who killed five people on Saturday at Club Q, an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs. He said he was at the nightclub watching a drag show with his family. nyti.ms/3EQQ5Yh

This man intentionally waited on scene to confront law enforcement. Deputy Werner is lucky to be alive. I wonder what went through the judge’s mind- believing a $100k bond was sufficient. Furthermore, lowering & dismissing charges that LE has PC to arrest is poor CJ reform.
