Can’t be too safe these days. In-flight hazmat suit plus goggles. (A friend and former scribe just sent me these pics of his row mate on a flight shortly taking off from a South Asian city to Shanghai.)

Meeting of China’s top leaders on the coronavirus outbreak calls it a major test of China’s governance system. It then calls for more internet/media controls, even after all the recent findings and anger about authorities blocking early online warnings.

If you’re in America and scared about the Wuhan coronavirus, but you haven’t gotten a flu shot and don’t know if your MMR vaccine is up to date, you might just be taking part in a racist social panic. Also go get your shots.

Economic aftermath of Wuhan coronavirus will be ugly, but there is hope. Remember Alibaba blossomed after SARS outbreak in 2003? Working remotely/virtually, online education and online grocery shopping will be booming this round

This is great. I've long argued that reporters and the Chinese foreign ministry should switch to emoticons for Q&A. After all, there's not that much to say. WeChat news conferences are your chance! e.g. 🇺🇸? 🇨🇳😡 💔 🦘? 🐼🐍 🇬🇧? 🥱 🤡 Try it Bill.
