The source of the odor-evoked EBG signal (in healthy individuals) was further localized to the olfactory bulb region. In a person born without bilateral olfactory bulbs, the signal is completely absent thus demonstrating that it is not due to non-odor related artifacts. 3/4pic.twitter.com/BfMoIEzCNO
The signal behaves as predicted and demonstrate a good test-retest reliability (>.78). A lot of work has gone into developing this method and I am extremely proud of the team. However, biggest thanks to @2017Kaw100; without their support, this crazy idea would not have taken off.pic.twitter.com/G2WdmFyOYQ
Woohoo! I must admit I was the biggest sceptic on the project - thought we could never measure from the OB or if we could we wouldn’t be able to tell OB from other brain areas. Thanks for pushing me, @OdorJohan !!
My main quality. Pushing people around
Well deserved! Congrats
Thanks! A lot of work so nice to see out.
Congratulations - really impressive work. +1 for providing code and data!
Thanks! We will open up the code/data page later today. Just need to ad a "think about this" document to help optimize recordings.
Really beautiful work! Very exciting to see a transformative technology!
Thanks! A lot of work so super nice to see it out.
