as far as i’m aware mac only considered going back to the bargaining table once TAs started blocking the in-progress grad residence where rent is more than what mac pays grad TAs. + the above QRTed L only happened once students started occupying buildings. just an observation 🙂

for legal reasons that first tweet is a "joke" because we can't legally compell you to join us. however i CAN legally say that you will be no better off if you DO scab because you won't have any legal protections under the contract that currently does not exist 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

also incredibly slimy of you to put the living wage for FULL TIME work next to our own wages when we’re limited to 20hrs/wk MAX over our ENTIRE school career. we dont make a living wage are you out of your mind. the only reason i can work as a TA is bc i live at home rent free

INCREDIBLY sexy of CUPE to have gotten the ford government to retract bill 28 entirely with only a few days of wildcat striking. fingers crossed my employer finally starts bargaining in good faith with my CUPE local in the wake of this 🙂
