Cloud is a very well designed character. He is the Melee Fox of Smash 4. Don’t john about him in Singles.

Lol nah he's rewarded with 4 different final smashes just for playing the game. Fox doesn't have a mechanic like that. How do him and Little Mac exist in the same game I mean, Cloud is basically just a better version of Mac when you get right down to it. But you're right no johns

Your thinking of it too literally. They are completely different mechanically. I’m talking about his effect on the games meta. You can shield pressure him. You can edge gaurd him. You can ledge trap him. You can combo the fuck out of him. You can do everything.

He adds to the game, instead of taking things away. Like ZeRo said about Bayo. If you play a character that gets deleted by Cloud it’s usually your characters fault for being poor designed not Cloud’s fault. Like Pac-Man or Toon Link who don’t play Smash and whiff punish.

The only thing Cloud takes away from the game is all the bad gimmicky characters that’s I’m glad he deletes. Characters with no normals who just camp and prey you have more damage in 6 minutes. Good riddance.

I've been saying this forever, people complain about cloud but I'd take a cloud infested bracket over a bracket of like Kirby yoshi tink anyday
