I think the next step for me is to build a matchup chart for when to play bayo and when to play Ness. Maybe that'll help. Idk. Doing so poorly sucks.

I can imagine. What did you do for matchups you couldn't decide for?
Trial and error in brackets, and noting what my strengths are vs the way they play after game 1 for some matchups. Nowadays I'll always open fox, but I might switch vs bayo/rosa/M2 and a few others depending on if I feel I can punish their habits harder with gnw.
