It was pretty easy when I beat Gonz's, but albeit Hero was new I'll give you that. Besides RNG factors though I really don't see how Hero doesn't lose to rushdown, I think overwhelming him really isn't that hard.

its just like...difficult? yeah when you get in and shove him in the air its fox vs a char with no mash and youre having some fun but the rest of it is pretty rough, and Hero's mix is crazyyyyyy

Yeah I don't think rushdown BODIES bodies Hero but I do still feel like they win. Mario might have a different edge cuz of how mobile he is and how amazing his air speed is, I can lowkey see the MU being a little worse for Fox, but not by much. I can see it though.
