Using the menu really ain't that rng unless you're double clicking like a madman. Honestly I'm more frustrated losing to stitch face pulls, when you narrow the menu down to the few categories of- buff, melee,ranged, and misc(burst, kamikaze, others) it's p tame.
You can reasonably guess what to expect whenever the menu pops up, and if he gets magic burst while also at the ledge, well, you gotta hold the fact that he rolled a 1/20 with majority of his mana while you were cornered already, and I think that's the dummest thing he has

You shouldn’t have to reasonably guess what moves a character gets to use. And something like magic burst at ledge that is literally unavoidable is terrible design and the fact that it’s justified by “oh it’s a random chance” makes it even worse
