To achieve eternal life You had 2 options. You are granted it at the cost of being shitfaced drunk forever. You are put in cryo stasis for 70 years. Waking up normal but you left the life you had today behind.
Cryostasis, leaving the life I had is tough but something I’d have to eventually face with eternal life (you outlive everyone), and being eternally drunk will weaken the ability to pursue everything the world has to offer, things that I’m able to seek out only because I’m eternal

It’s a solid question and still made me think! I chose the logic of saying goodbye to my life now rather than later knowing I’d have to eventually. I also considered the idea of being permanently shitfaced as an emotional suppressor since no one could become a true life partner
