This doesn’t happen on Melee yoshis cuz the slant is long enough so you’ll almost always also be on the slant, this only happens on brawl yoshis and very situationally lylat, and the melee Yoshi slant is even lesser than lylats

It’s around the same rate as town and city platforms messing with people (stretchers, unreactable miss techs that lead to easy tech chases due to platforms spawning and sliding into place) and no one seems to have a problem with that stage

I think 5 is too little but I’m for the Leffen stagelist (your 4, Kalos + Yoshis Melee) or those 6 + 1 of lylat/town/unova (id prefer unova but general population seems to enjoy town more, I think town being loosely correlated to FD/Kalos makes flats too strong)

I think if 5 stages were to occur it should be the 4 listed + unova, Kalos and yoshis I feel are a pairing as they’re legitimately okay stages but double dip (Kalos is FD neutral but you prefer plat techchasing over ledgetrap, yoshis is a much more crammed triplat layout)

Kalos platforms don’t effect neutral nearly as much as ps2 plats do, and unova plats are way too big to make the kind of plat traps people who go to the other Pokémon stages as potent.

So does smashville, and I think smashville spawn advantage is even larger, it’s a very minor nuance in the grand scheme of things
