Everyone is saying that D3 is complete ass. They do not know yet.

he just feels good cuz its a new engine, dont fall for it, overall everyone feels more fluid than smash 4

the new engine gives him legitimately terrifying traps and he basically can't be touched offstage and is strong off of ledge unlike other heavies. Not saying he's fantastic but he's far better than people are speculating

he still seemed really weak when i saw him in action/played against, it looked like he lost to all the same stuff he does in smash 4 just in a new engine

what rino said, I think the people playing him are either not using gordo to its full potential or just aren't familiar with the character enough to be writing him off as awful. also he has basically everything from 4 + far better and generally stronger hitboxes on average

i still dont see it, even with gordos being buffed and hit hitboxes that now work properly, i still think he looks to be one of the weakest in the cast, even if the general power curve between best and worst might have shrunk a bit.

I understand where this sentiment comes from. People aren't seeing how good this characters disadvantage is, how plus he is on block, and how good he is at catching landings. He's also as heavy as DK and lives incredibly long. Its fine though as I said people will see soon enough

Everyone is plus on block now though, shield is just really really bad in this game, i think that having things that are +/safely - is now a right, not a privilege. I dont want to crush dreams but i really dont think DDDs got it thinking long term about the game.
