I understand where this sentiment comes from. People aren't seeing how good this characters disadvantage is, how plus he is on block, and how good he is at catching landings. He's also as heavy as DK and lives incredibly long. Its fine though as I said people will see soon enough
Everyone is plus on block now though, shield is just really really bad in this game, i think that having things that are +/safely - is now a right, not a privilege. I dont want to crush dreams but i really dont think DDDs got it thinking long term about the game.

We'll see, but I genuinely convinced his punish game is hard enough that in a game that emphasizes whiff punishing as hard as this one that a character with relatively fast smashes, a good command grab, and huge grab range will see success.

Also D3 pair is plus enough to in theory guarantee grab on block without getting shield grabbed due to pushback. So unless you outrange his grab you straight up lose if you don't pick a defensive option. Nair also has 0 LL compare to 4
