Its actually a pretty bad breakdown since it more closely represents social democracy. As

pointed out; democratic socialism is socialism in the fact that it advocates for a post capitalist system.

Early Democratic socialism is going to be social democracy. By its definition, socialist goals are going to be achieved democratically, which likely means a patchwork path. I find the whole argument over the differences a bit absurd.
