I like how seeing that list we're all supposed to say: No, I don't want any of that. Can I get tax cuts for the rich and an increase to an already over bloated defense budget?

-
“I was promised a Wall and all I got was alleviation from the threat of medical bankruptcy!”

-
Whaaat forgiveness/deep discounted student loan debt and free college....No, more war and corporate bailouts please.

-
No such thing as free college. Someone/everyone has to pay. My brother-in-law just paid well over $10k to put two kids thru college. Now, if we have "free college", does he have to also pay to put someone else's kids thru college?
-
#FreeCollege is another perfectly reasonable policy that America now treats like radical leftist insanity. Common in the past, California offered free tuition to in-state students until the 1970s.http://www.politifact.com/florida/statements/2016/feb/09/bernie-s/was-college-once-free-united-states-and-it-oversea/ … - 1 more reply

How do you propose to pay for these? Bake sale?

-
No idea how to pay and don’t care. Typical.
-
4th branch, are you similarly concerned with how we will pay for Trump tax cuts? Debt financing okay for that but not okay for these?
-
Were you concerned when Obama added 10 Trillion to the National Debt without hard working people actually seeing any tax cuts and more money in their pockets? Probably not.
-
You realize that all he did was add in the true cost of the Iraq war to the budget, right? Something that GWB kept off the books.

It's funny how they showed that to scare folks, and I'm betting at least one or two Fox watchers were like "Wait... wait, no, wait... I support that... but... wait... no... what?!"
-
You can support it yes, but it’s an economic and political disaster.
-
Yeah look to all that Nordic countries and their terrible way of living and Who wants that
-
Yea, all the Nordic countries and their insane tax burden, who wants that.
-
Ask someone living there how terrible it is Best place to live in the world by any measure
-
As an American living in Sweden... yeah, it's fine here. Thriving middle class & entrepreneur culture. Free university & job retraining. Low cost/capped healthcare. 31% personal tax rate. In a
vs.
comparison, policy wise, Sweden comes out on top by miles. -
However most economists, actually pretty much all, will tell you that the Nordic model and the form of socialism is unsustainable. Eventually it will change because it has to. The redistribution system that is employed there will only work for brief window of time.
-
To say economists agree 100% on anything is because one you don't know much about it or two you only listen to one school of thought I'm an economist major and there are so many lines and schools of thought and variations within them that your affirmation don't hold
