Just an incredible thread from @StevenTDennis: GOP Senator Martha McSally is proposing a regressive tax cut costing hundreds of billions of dollars for people to spread the coronavirus … I mean, go on vacationpic.twitter.com/ra9Fe4SVSP

"Free vacations for rich people during a global pandemic, and nothing for poor people" is like a parody of a parody of Republican ideas.

But deficit financing it is where the real genius comes into play.

He’s a reporter. He’s just reporting the glue sniffing. It was a dig at dynamic scoring.

Absolutely wild that states are rushing to reopen because they don’t want to protect worker or small businesses, but the GOP is willing to blow the deficit to help rich people get in on the super-spreading game.

Pfft. Everyone knows rich people don't spread (nor have) diseases. Diseases are only visited upon people with grievous moral failings, such as failing to be born into a rich family. Duhhh.

The world these GOP Senators live in must have butterscotch skies and golden parachutes to sail them in.
