Battlefield 5 was marketed using an "I'm touching your stuff" strategy, like a spiteful bratty little brother. It deserved what it got, gamers don't like that kind of sh*t test. And what's wrong with breast sliders, and what does that have to do with "muh representation"?

What exactly do you mean by "shit test" because you seem to be treating it as a catchall excuse for getting mad And there's nothing wrong with breast sliders, there is something wrong with people calling feminist conspiracy and culture war over them not being included

I hate to break this to you, but every game sacrifices some degree of realism for fun. Respawns, maps that aren't 90% empty space, guns that don't jam, ammo counters, etc. are all unauthentic Also the prosthetic was literally one they had back thenhttps://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/8lyp8s/the_prosthetic_arm_from_the_battlefield_v_trailer/ …

It's an ad that persuaded people to... not buy the game. That's the worst ad possible.

I love the mental gymnastics it takes to defend the one armed angsty cyberpunk chick in a WWII game. The hilarious part is, BattleField V *could* have been a success. All they had to do is... not set it in WWII. They've done it before.

Even simpler. They could have just said it was WW2 themed. That's all it would have taken. But no, they had to go "SHUT UP, COCKNEY CRIPPLE COMMANDO WOMEN WITH TOURETTES ARE TOTES HISTORICAL AND YOU NEED TO READ SOME BOOKS YOU STUPID NERDS!"

I remember when AC: Odyssey straight up admitted "Yes, the scene here isn't historically accurate, which is supposedly one of our selling points, but social justice anyways."

That's still slightly less ridiculous than the hole DICE insisted upon digging themselves into.
