I've been given the greenlight to do this final fundraiser via OG. To state for legal reasons, the money will be used to buy these items but the HW wouldn't be owned by OG, it would be owned by the museum once the lawyers finish paper work.

Been offered a set2 Dreamcast prototype. While in bed 😂. Need to await consent to launch a possible fundraiser 😳 set2 katana’s were only used internally and are extremely hard to come by.

Now curious, if I disconnect micro usb, and the battery, reconnect and then connect to usb it does come on to the bootloader style menu, but then it turns off. wondering if its got some sort of timer or something or code?

The battery came today that could work on the Xperia play 2 while the cables different and size is slightly smaller it’s very close.

As of 5 mins ago, it's possible to play through the whole of my game in its entirety.
I still have a list of 40 things that still need doing but, in theory, it's a complete game! 🥳

We've preserved a total of 20 Nintendo Game Boy cartridges from Minolta! They were used within Minolta camera repair stores and provided a cheaper and easier alternative to test faulty units! The setup would’ve been connected to the camera via a special jig and a “HIT I/F Box”.

It happened again..😬the success of the Xperia Play 2 lead to us being able to purchase multiple prototype consoles, dev kits, and even unreleased games.

I ordered an Xperia T battery today, it should be here next week. Upon carefully checking multiple ebay listings/amazon listings it appears to use the same connector, it's the same voltage and we just need to confirm the polarity of it before doing further tests. #xperiaplay2

Two Xperia Play 1's restored, third is a work in progress. The 4th.. Alex borrowed to do tests.
Real question, would people want to see more of the Xperia Play 2? If so we have some plans lined up but it'll be via a third party ;) The battery is still a WIP at fixing.

As guessed by many, it was the unreleased PSP Phone 2/Xperia Play 2. Here's a photo until we can get the device working. (Battery is dead and a custom prototype one) this one is different to the one found in 2020.

And now the bad news, it works! but it doesn't. The battery is dead dead, and it's a custom battery that in itself is a prototype.
We can't do much else, but we will do a small live stream in the OG Discord (obscuregamers.com/pages/discord/) for donators. If you donated, 1/2
