I think there will be increasing numbers of violent confrontations like last week in Portland leading up to the 2020 election. When Trump is re-elected, the left will start mass riots in every major city in the US. @ArmyCol45

We may not make it to the 2020 election if Antifa goes kinetic (bombs or guns) or beats someone to death. That’s all a matter of chance. That’s the problem with police NOT actually preventing assaults. Eventually Antifa will kill someone.

The first shots have already been fired with the assasination of Scalia and the shooting in 2017 at the congressional baseball game. I see it going hot not later than the day after the election in 2020 but most probably before that.

Good points. Scalia’s death was beyond suspicious. And that clearly had an impact on the other Justices. Likely the whole point - toe the line or else. Has it ever been otherwise with powerful elites?

Speaking of which, the situation of the OR Governor ordering the OR State Police to “find” GOP State Senators and “bring them back” to the OR Senate was a close one. That could have kicked it off right there if the State Police had acted on it.
