Sounds like YouTube isn’t making much money for their YouTube TV. 50 dollars a month is close to basic cable prices. Kodi is a legal platform, but depends on the users to do with it. They’re discriminatory towards the Kodi platform and it’s users
I think this is more of an issue of TV / movie studios threatening to pull ad dollars unless YouTube did something about Kodi pirate guides (there were many). Studios also directly issued DMCA takedowns of Kodi pirating tutorials.
