    Yesterday, we called on Eddie Lampert to set up a financial hardship fund to support the families impacted by the Sears & Kmart bankruptcy. Nearly 90,000 employees have already been laid off since last year or are facing losing our jobs this year.

    The unemployment rate doesn’t take into account those of us stuck in part-time jobs unable to find full-time work. We’re paid low wages & forced to live on government assistance. This is not a thriving economy. We want to hear from you: How are YOU surviving in this economy?

    We shouldn’t have to regularly choose between paying rent, getting medicine or buying food to eat. It’s time for Walmart to publicly commit to raising the minimum wage to $15/hr and real raises for long-time associates. Sign our petition now
