    OLPC did its first project in Miami in 2010. That project introduced new concepts: Partnerships became an essential model that we are replicating across the world. It is nice to add a new project in Miami. Thanks for allowing OLPC to benefit youth in Florida.

    Bilwi in Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua was hit by Category 4 Hurricane Iota on November 16, 2020. Today, kids in several schools received XO Laptops to continue their education, pursue their dreams and construct their knowledge. Great job ! The story in our blog, soon.

    Term EdTech has become commonplace, particularly in recent years when digital technology is more available to children. Few people know its history and origins. Did you know AI, the Maker Movement, the use of computers for education, and educational robotics have the same origin?

    Great experience....your contribution was great.... is certainly more than the laptop... It builds global citizens, enabled for innovation ... Accelerates rural electrification through schools etc..

    So many good memories working on the OLPC more than a decade ago @ Thanks for having exposed me. Yes it is about what a child can do with a laptop,it is a dream to dare, it is the 1st contact that u fall in love

    It is not about the laptop but what children can do with the laptop. No es sobre la laptop sino sobre lo que los niños pueden hacer con la laptop.
