    But France seems considerably angrier with the US than with Australia. Likening Biden to Trump.

    WH Press Sec responding to France being angry about the new US, UK, Australia agreement: We value our relationship and partnership with France. I would leave it to Australia to explain why they sought this "new technology" and why they purchased the U.S. technology.

    Also: State Dept correspondents are doing heavy lifting in pressing for answers to this debacle, including but not exclusive to Matt Lee. There is real journalism taking place in Foggy Bottom that should get a lot more attention from nat'l outlets.
