. had a $8 Million PPP loan forgiven after laying off over 5% of their workforce, all while constructing a $100 Million+ glass facade on their building to “symbolize transparency” and without selling any of their $300 Million+ stock portfolio. Don’t give them any more money!

Really good NYC-style pizza joint just opened a couple of months ago in El Cerrito. Super Slice on San Pablo near Central. Really nice crust, they sell enormous slices, and the people are nice. Give it a try sometime.

Did KPOO get knocked off the air? Haven’t heard their air signal since those thunderstorms a couple of days ago.

I remember back when if you saw someone sleeping in a tent in Oakland you assumed they were making a political statement, not unable to find a place to live.

This makes me sad. Missing Link in Berkeley was my first bike shop when I moved to the East Bay. Where I bought my first Surly. A worker-owned co-op with knowledgeable but unpretentious staff and a free bike repair station. A real loss. RIP Missing Link.

The Missing Link, which has always been a lot more than a bike shop, has posted on its GoFundMe page that workers have voted to close the business at the end of the year. Losing that piece of #Berkeley community really hurts. gofundme.com/f/help-the-mis

Sometimes I pause and remember that they murdered Jeffrey Epstein in a high-security prison to keep him quiet about global elites sexually abusing children. Then I switch modes and carry on as if we live in a normal world where our problems can be solved by voting. It's weird.

Elon once tried to get me to write a story that a Thai-based British man, who had criticized him, was a “child rapist” and took a 12 year old bride based on information someone sent him. That someone ended up being a conman pretending to be a private investigator.

Not helpful that Democrats are out here pushing the myth that San Francisco is somehow more dangerous than Republican cities like Jacksonville, Miami, or Fort Worth. (It's about twice as safe as any of those places)

Exchange here between Kathy Hochul and @SRuhle here. Ruhle says NYers "don't feel safe" on the subway and people are afraid of the city becoming like SF. Hochul responds ,"We'll never be San Francisco," saying homicides and shooting are down dramatically," since last year.
