Really good NYC-style pizza joint just opened a couple of months ago in El Cerrito. Super Slice on San Pablo near Central. Really nice crust, they sell enormous slices, and the people are nice. Give it a try sometime.

This makes me sad. Missing Link in Berkeley was my first bike shop when I moved to the East Bay. Where I bought my first Surly. A worker-owned co-op with knowledgeable but unpretentious staff and a free bike repair station. A real loss. RIP Missing Link.

Not helpful that Democrats are out here pushing the myth that San Francisco is somehow more dangerous than Republican cities like Jacksonville, Miami, or Fort Worth.
