    Social network analysis of yellow-bellied marmots reveals a sociality-linked survival benefit—but only for young females. Yearling females with strong social relationships had higher summer survival. Suggests benefits of sociality may vary by age + sex.

    Nice meta-analysis on gender differences in toy preference: "Boys preferred boy-related toys more than girls...girls preferred girl-related toys more than boys" (d ≥ 1.60). Girls also preferred gender-neutral toys (d = 0.29). Want to see this over time!
