I'm not going to get too far into this because I have enough of a cis audience that intracommunity discourse of this nature is probably a bad idea but people need to stop performing surprise like they've discovered a lusus naturae every time a white trans woman does smth fashy

I don't want to speak out of turn because my lived experience is as not-marginalised as they come. But doesn't simply being white make it easier to be faschy anyway? regardless of other factors about who one might be? because like... whiteness.

I agree with you but I have sometimes pointed it out because like vast majority of my followers are also white transfems and these are my peers. It's rediculously easy to play 6 degrees of separation with transfems on twitter and I want people to be aware.

it's not that it's a transfem problem, it's a white problem. That said, I want to be more considerate about how I bring it up in the future I think.

I recently learned that a white trans woman I looked up to back in 2006 when I was trying to transition for the first time went full fash and I was sad but I wasn't *that* surprised because again "*white* woman"
